Whip

I like turtles. Certainly, I’m not the 1st nor the last.

I created, ran, and talked on the air at Indie 101.5 in Denver.  Weird station that a lot of people really liked.  Stranger behind the scenes.  We won Westword’s “Best Commercial Radio Station” in 2009 and 5 months later we were gone.  The curse of winning an award?  No, more like the curse of having an ownership that was more concerned with getting their redneck, religious and political agendas to the sinners of Denver. So, goofy MaxMedia pulled the plug. Makes sense. “Hey, it’s good, we’re a corporation. Let’s kill it!”

Hence (really, who uses ‘hence?) the evolution to internet radio. Shall we try again to play all the great Denver music mixed with my questionable taste?
A hearty “Yes” is the proper response.
So? Let’s go!

Oh, and sorry about the picture.  That one was taken at my other gig which mixes singing in punk rock band and being an ice cream man.

I find it hilarious KTCL has to go to people online to find alternative music to play. Isn’t that what decent programming directors and DJs are for?

Keep up the good work man. Still love the station.

Gracias Rob. That means Thank You in Croation in case you didn’t know
